The view was amazing. Having a balcony was a huge positive. Breakfast was good and convenient. The Dorint is short walking distance from the main part of the city! A major beautiful park surrounds the Augsburg Dorint!

The interrior design (especially the foyer) was amazing. The breakfast buffet had a huge variety of litetally everything they had to offer (from types of cereal to jam), freshly (live) cooked eggs the way you asked and a very fine tea assortment. The presentation of the choices at the buffet was also an eye-catcher.

The rooms are comfy and the view is great, especially if you upgrade to a higher floor. What we especially like in this hotel is the breakfast room, you look out of the windows into the green of the Wittelsbacher Park, and the buffet is consistently very, very good.

Overall - it's quite decent hotel. Not far from the central railway station and the city center (tram station is just several minutes to walk). We used this hotel together with friends to attend a concert which was just in the nearby concert hall. Very pleasant and helpful personnel (at reception and bar). Nice view. Relatively spacious room. Complimentary bottle of water.

We enjoyed our stay at the Dorint hotel very much: price of the room was including breakfast, the room itself was specious end well designed, the beds very comfortable and we had a nice view from the balcony. It was not possible to park out car in the adjacent parking garage, but the alternative was also fine. All-in-all, it was one of the best hotels we stayed for that price, location and facilities.

The room was great, we got a free upgrade to a higher floor, and the view was wonderful. We stayed at this hotel also last summer, and compared to this the atmosphere has considerably improved. In 2021 the breakfast buffet was open, but the offer was limited. There was a wrapping station where this year there were croissants, cakes etc. and the coffee machine. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Also the bar has reopened since then.

I came to Augsburg for family reasons and had already had a stressful trip but when I arrived at Dorint, the staff were incredibly helpful and efficient. My room was well sized and very comfortable. The balcony was a good size too and had a lovely view over the park. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were only too happy to help if they could. The breakfast was lovely and honestly, considering a lot of the German food I ate in the evenings was heavy, I was glad for a lighter breakfast. It's a buffet so up to you how much or how little you have.

Wonderful spacious bed room with balcony and shower room. Extremely comfortable and quiet. Tasty range of food for breakfast with bespoke hot food options. Friendly staff. Only 2 tram stops from city centre.

Even though the building itself is 40+ years old, it has been very well maintained. Restaurant was excellent as was the bar area. The staff was BEYOND friendly and helpful. All of them spoke fluent English which helped considerably since my German language skills are lacking. Would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the Augsburg area. Ohhh…did I mention that the Rathausplatz and all it has to offer is just a 15 minute walk away?
